I don't tend to post much on Fashion shows, I leave that to the magazines as there is plenty to go round, but I couldn't help myself with Valentino's stunning Fall 2013 collection. Maria Grazia Chiuri and Pierpaolo Piccioli have come up with an incredibly elegant and fascinating Show recreating Flemish ladies from the 17th century inspired by the Dutch artists of that time such as Vermeer and also more recent ones such as Hendrik Kerstens. In my view, they nailed it and it is one of my favourite Shows so far this year.
No suelo escribir mucho sobre las pasarelas de moda, se lo dejo a las revistas que ya ofrecen muchas noticias al respecto, pero no podía resistirme con ésta colección de Otoño 2013 de la grandiosa casa Valentino. Maria Grazia Chiuri y Pierpaolo Piccioli han diseñado unas prendas de gran elegancia y visualmente fascinantes, recreando las señoritas de las obras de famosos artistas Holandeses del siglo 17 como Vermeer y otros más recientes como Hendrik Kerstens. A mi punto de vista han hecho un trabajo espectacular y es una de mis pasarelas preferidas en lo que va de año.
